A. The MakoLink Transformer and MakoLink JMS API require a Java runtime. The MakoLink Adapter is a Guardian process and does not require Java.
Q. Does MakoLink require OSS?
A. No. The MakoLink Adapter runs in the Guardian environment and does not require OSS. The MakoLink Transformer and MakoLink JMS API can run on any Java platform including NonStop Java under OSS.
Q. Will the MakoLink JMS API work with my message framework or ESB?
A. The MakoLink JMS API leverages the highly popular ActiveMQ version 5 JMS client. The MakoLink JMS API is compatible with any message framework that is compatible with ActiveMQ.
