Our Team
Ernest L. Guerrera
President
Ernie Guerrera leads NuWave's professional services and business development efforts, bringing over twenty-five years of direct experience in both project management and technical knowledge in the design and implementation of mission critical applications.
Ernie began his career back in the day as an operating systems developer, working with several companies on large-scale projects such as worldwide inventory control systems, and the earliest developments of UPC technology and the use of handheld laser scanners.
It was this large-scale, worldwide project scope that led him to Data Architects (now LogicaCMG), where Ernie first began working with NonStop™ systems (then Tandem systems) deploying highly efficient, secure, and reliable on-line transaction processing systems for the Financial Services industry - in the United States, Europe and the Pacific Rim.
Ernie moved on from there to join Cornerstone Software as Vice President of Professional Services, where he was responsible for project management and on-time delivery of client projects.
After leaving Cornerstone, Ernie began working as a consultant and eventually formed what is now NuWave Technologies. Since starting the company, Ernie has lead several high-level projects in Financial Services, the Utilities Sector, and the Public Sector. He was responsible for the analysis of various states' Public Utilities Commission standards for the exchange of customer enrollment and billing information using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Ernie has also worked extensively and directly with the Federal Aviation Administration to successfully complete a critical Y2K remediation project on time and within budget, bringing select distributed applications up to current technology standards and improving security to core application servers.
As President of the organization, he creates and fosters an environment in which tasks are accomplished using well-planned and systematic approaches. He puts tremendous emphasis on obtaining a thorough understanding of every customer's requirements and assessing the best available skills for every project, which helps NuWave Technologies create the most effective solution for the problem.
Dave Belliveau
Senior Software Architect
Dave Belliveau has more than twenty years of overall IT experience and in-depth knowledge in the areas of NonStop™ server applications, transaction processing, product development and consulting.
Dave began his experience and familiarity with the NonStop (then Tandem) platform when he joined Cornerstone Software and became the architect and lead developer for their TDS and Piccolo products. Dave was instrumental in developing one of the most widely used middleware product suites available for the NonStop server. Today, these products are marketed by HP as NonStop Remote Server Call/MP and continue to have an impact on the industry.
Before coming to NuWave, Dave worked in the dot.com consulting space, expanding his knowledge of web application development. In this capacity, he developed web sites for several start-up companies, specifically working with e-commerce and web site integration with backend systems.
Since his arrival at NuWave, Dave has assumed the role of Senior Software Architect and lead developer of our newest product, SOAP/AM®. Dave also plays an integral role in the professional services space, working on projects such as security assessment and remediation, and application migration.
Mark Roy
Senior Consultant
Mark Roy brings to NuWave more than sixteen years of design and development experience with client/server middleware products and applications, and the communication interfaces to exploit them.
Mark began his career with Wang Laboratories as an application developer for the Wang Office product suite, concentrating on the electronic mail and calendaring components.
After leaving Wang, Mark joined Cornerstone Software, where he began working with the NonStop™ (then Tandem) server platform. He was the principal designer of two major products; DynaAccess, which provides an industry-standard Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) driver interface for Enscribe and NonStop SQL databases on NonStop systems, and Remote Server Object Model (RSOM), which provides a Microsoft-standard Component Object Model (COM) ActiveX interface to the NonStop Remote Server Call (RSC/MP) product.
Mark's unique combination of cross-platform technical knowledge and industry experience has enabled him to take the lead with NuWave clients where application design and development for legacy-to-web, replatforming, and database technologies are required.
