NuWave Technologies Announces Beta for SOAP/AM™ Web Service Client for HP NonStop® Servers
Nashua, NH -- August 11, 2003 -- NuWave Technologies, Inc. announced today the availability of a beta release of its latest product, SOAP/AM™ Web Service Client. The software allows any application that runs on HP NonStop servers, regardless of programming language, to access Web services on any platform through the industry-standard SOAP protocol. The beta release is available for download from http://www.nuwave-tech.com/download. The general availability release is slated for later this year.
SOAP/AM™ Web Service Client is a complimentary product to NuWave’s SOAP/AM™ Server, released earlier this year. SOAP/AM™ Server allows existing applications on NonStop servers to be exposed as Web services.
SOAP/AM™ Web Service Client relays messages from client applications sent through the NonStop server’s native inter-process message system to Web services anywhere in the world. SOAP/AM™ hides the complexity of the TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and SOAP protocols required to access Web services.
By providing a simple, familiar interface to access Web services, SOAP/AM™ minimizes the learning curve for developers, allowing them to build secure distributed applications that integrate Web services running on virtually any computing platform quickly and easily.
SOAP/AM™ Web Service Client conforms to the current SOAP, XML, SSL, TLS, and HTTP standards. It installs entirely on the NonStop server and does not require OSS (the POSIX operating system personality for NonStop servers).
