CI-Ready SOAP/AM® Praised

SOAP/AM                                                                            NonStop CI-Ready

March 14, 2011--Who would have thought that the humble NuWave Technologies would be able to grab the attention of the editors at The Connection magazine two issues in a row? But as luck would have it, the company was asked to assist with articles in two consecutive issues. For the November/December edition, the author of the IT Project Blog (the project management blog managed by NuWave) wrote an article on agile development for the magazine. Then, in the January/February issue NuWave was featured as one of the first companies to have a certified converged infrastructure (CI) ready product for the NonStop server.

As described in the article, the criteria for products to be considered CI-ready are 1) they must run on a NonStop server and 2) they must either a) use modern technology or enable modernization, or b) are capable of being installed using NonStop Software Essentials. NuWave's SOAP/AM® products run in the Guardian environment on NonStop and help to modernize NonStop applications. The article, titled "A Slice of NonStop: Low-Hanging Fruit Lead the Way to NonStop CI-Readiness", praises five partners, including NuWave, for being the solution leaders in this movement.

During an interview for this story NuWave's president, Ernie Guerrera, was asked what HP could do to encourage more partner interest in modernizing new and existing solutions. Mr. Guerrera is quoted in the article as saying "What will help is an observable HP commitment to fully educate its sales representatives, consultants, analysts, and solutions architects about both the open advantages of NonStop and the CI-Ready solutions that exist for the platform." Whether or not HP will heed this advice is unknown.
