The IT Project Blog Earns Syndication

February 23, 2011--You know your blog is gaining steam when everybody is asking to reprint articles. NuWave Technologies doesn't grant everyone permission, but they recently allowed PMBoulevard (pmboulevard.com) to republish an IT Project Blog article. This is mainly because the site has a good reputation in the project management community--and they asked nicely. The featured article, titled "The Who, What and Why of Lessons Learned", talks about who should be involved in the project lessons learned process and what role each of them should have. It also explains why project managers should even perform a lessons learned analysis at all.

PMBoulevard is not the only project management website that has used the IT Project Blog's articles. PMHut (pictured above), ProjectManagers.net, PM Podcast, and many others have also partnered with NuWave in order to use, share, or exchange content. As you can see from the previous news item, Kathlika Thomas, the blog's author, also expanded an article for publication in The Connection magazine.

Unfortunately, around the same time that this momentum began to build, some new projects and opportunities sprung up at NuWave, and management made the decision to use blog staff for these initiatives. Gabrielle Guerrera, the blog's promoter, claims that the freeze on new articles is only temporary and that "our staff will still respond promptly to any new questions or comments posted to the blog."
