NuWave's Blog Author Writes For The Connection
The Connection chose NuWave Technologies to be a guest author for their November/December 2010 edition, citing the company's IT Project Blog as the source of their interest.
December 8, 2010--NuWave Technologies' own Kathlika Thomas was asked to write for The Connection magazine, the premier technical publication for HP NonStop users. Technical issues, industry developments, events, users, and new solutions are all present in this print publication. However, Thomas' article is actually on the topic of agile development.
Although Thomas does not have experience with Tandem (NonStop) servers, her work on the IT Project Blog caught the attention of the magazine's editors. As the blog's head author, she has written over 30 articles on project management and IT, and has gained the respect of other project management bloggers worldwide.
The article, titled "The Ins and Outs of Iterative, Incremental Development", describes the differences between the waterfall, spiral, and agile development models and lays out the pros and cons of using the agile method. It also includes a case study to show how the method can, in many instances, lead to successful software implementations.
