Nashua, NH – September 7, 2005 -- NuWave Technologies, Inc. announces the release of Version 2.0 of SOAP/AMTM Server and SOAP/AMTM Web Service Client products. This most recent release has been extensively and successfully Beta tested by some of our customers and is now available for download from http://www.nuwave-tech.com/. This release includes many features and enhancements in response to feedback from our customer base. A complete, detailed list of changes included in this release can be found on our website.
SOAP/AM Server allows customers to expose their existing Pathway servers as Web Services that can be accessed using standard SOAP protocol over HTTP or HTTPS by client applications on virtually any platform. By providing a standard SOAP interface to NonStop-based server applications, SOAP/AM Server allows client application developers to take advantage of the latest development tools to build user interfaces. SOAP/AM Server works with existing NonStop server applications, preserving their investments in development and testing. No server software changes or recompilation is required, thus minimizing risk and maximizing productivity.
SOAP/AM Server is integrated with HP’s NonStop TM/MP software for transaction management, and conforms to the SOAP, XML, SSL, TLS, HTTP and WebDAV standards. The product features a browser-based management interface and Web Service Definition Wizard tool that allows Web services to be online with minimal development effort.
SOAP/AM Web Service Client allows HP NonStop applications to integrate external Web services running on any platform. SOAP/AM Web Service Client relays messages from NonStop client applications sent through the NonStop server's native inter-process message system to Web services anywhere in the world. SOAP/AM hides the complexity of the TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and SOAP protocols required to access Web services.
Both, SOAP/AM Server and SOAP/AM Web Services Client install entirely on the NonStop Server – no client software deployment is necessary. SOAP/AM does not require OSS (the POSIX personality for NonStop Servers), a web server or language compiler.
